The Association welcomes anyone with an interest in the history and legacy of RAF Bomber Command. Originally established as a veterans’ organisation, the BCAA has evolved to include new generations who wish to commemorate the service and sacrifice of Bomber Command veterans. By extending membership to the wider community, we continue to support our veterans and their families while ensuring their stories endure and are understood. Today, our members span Australia and many countries overseas.

Throughout the year, the Association hosts a range of events that bring together the Bomber Command family. Key gatherings include the Anzac Day commemorations and the annual Bomber Command Commemorative Day, held nationally in late May or early June. Members also receive a quarterly newsletter featuring updates on upcoming events, historical articles, and contributions from the community. All members are encouraged to share stories, photographs, and research.

​General Membership is available to a person who is:

• a World War II veteran, or their widow

• a relative or friend of a veteran referred to above 

• currently serving or ex-service member

• cadet

• any person who has a special interest in Bomber Command history, commemoration or connection.
