This oral history collection preserves the wartime memories of more than 2,000 Australian veterans, including more than 120 who served in Bomber Command. Their interviews offer vivid, personal accounts of training, operations, loss, survival, and the lifelong impact of service. Please be aware that some material may be distressing. Certain interviews include offensive language, negative stereotypes, and references to people who have died. These recordings reflect the culture, attitudes, and experiences of the interviewees at the time of the events and the date of the interview.
